I’ve been using Cascade Platinum pods for several weeks now, running my dishwasher about once a day, and I’m genuinely impressed with how consistently clean everything comes out. After trying quite a few dishwasher detergents over the years, I still continue coming back to these because they simply work consistently well without me having to think about it. They clean extremely effectively, cut through grease and stuck-on food surprisingly well, and leave dishes, glasses, utensils, and cookware looking noticeably cleaner compared to many less expensive options I have tried. One thing I especially appreciate is that they dissolve properly and do not leave behind the cloudy residue or film that some dishwasher pods can leave on dishes and glassware. The fresh scent is noticeable but not overwhelmingly strong once the dishwasher cycle is complete. The container arrived sealed properly with no broken pods, leaking, or crushed packaging during shipping, which I was honestly happy about because dishwasher pods can become a disaster if packaged poorly. Everything arrived intact and ready to use. While these are definitely not the cheapest dishwasher pods available, I do personally think the performance justifies the price, especially when purchased in larger quantities like this. A little extra cost is worth it to me if it means not having to rewash dishes constantly afterward. Say it with me: Cascade Platinum. Growing up in the 60s and 70s, I was the dishwasher. Not the machine. Me. Two hands, hot water, dish towel, and somebody somewhere telling me I missed a spot. It was well into the 90s before I had my first real experience with an actual dishwasher, and let me tell you, I tried everything. I mean everything. At one point, I even used regular dish soap, which turned my kitchen into something that looked like a lost episode of I Love Lucy. Bubbles everywhere. Regret everywhere. Lesson learned. That brings me to Cascade Platinum. This product is pretty amazing. The dishes come out clean, the glassware looks good, and it handles the kind of food residue that usually makes you question whether the dishwasher is actually working or just making noise with confidence. These clean my dishes pretty good. I love these because they clean my dishes good without a super chemically scent but rather a clean scent. They are so easy to just pop into the washer and my dishwasher gets super hot so ive had no problems of these not dissolving!
