I've been using a couple of plastic tables as my desk for nearly a decade. This desk was the upgrade I didn't know I needed. It feels big without taking up a ton of space. The depth is perfect, and I love that I get my tower off my desk and tucked conveniently underneath, yet it's still off the floor. The shelves aren't deep at all. They're only about 7 inches deep, but it's perfect for photos and other display pieces. The slim size keeps me from loading them up with a bunch of books or other stuff that's less fun to look at. The extra outlets, USB ports, and lights are just added bonuses. PROS => Perfect size => Works great with wall-mounted monitors => Feels spacious and roomy => Wood components are only about .5 inch thick, but don't feel easy to damage. I did drop the stop shelf onto the desk surface during assembly, and it caused no damage. => Easy to assemble => Stable => Versatile - can built with shelves on left or right => Perfect height => Feels highend without the highend price CONS => Would be nice to have two light strips Overall, this is a very nice desk for a great price. It's versatile. It fits great in my space and looks very nice. It's been a huge upgrade over plastic tables!

This is a good L shaped desk. Provides tons of desktop space for work or play. The shelves are great for organizing stuff like decorations or other files so they don't clutter your work surface. The LEDs are a nice touch too, for added aesthetic. The desk is sturdy and holds up well to use. Only wish it came in more colors.

I had to get rid of my previous desk because I moved and I have been looking for another one to take its place. Well this desk has been amazing! It was pretty straightforward putting it together. I love that you can switch it to the other side and I really love the led lights.
