Pilot holes were drilled, crooked so screws would not go straight and would not fully set wood cracked and split when trying to assemble wood is so warped so bad that the chair will not go together properly it is also made of extremely cheap wood I would not feel safe, letting a child sit in this let alone a full grown adult. This is the cheapest seat in this style in Amazon; so you have to expect work assembly and not the best quality how ever i recommend; it’s more stronger than they look; and also just consider this it’s not for a person with more than 250 pounds

Easy enough to put together, but I hadn't appreciated that these are just a bit smaller than the average chair. Of course, once I had one built, even thinking about a return seemed not worth the hassle, so I have the other still sitting in a box.
