Although the entire case is not wood like some out there this one was great because it couldn't warp when wet, it was really easy to take on and off my phone, and I would always get compliments on it because it always made my phone look cool and sleek and clean no matter how dirty my hands are from work or just the day. Would 110% buy again, and for friends and family. Plus you wouldn't even have to wrap it because the little case and box they ship it to you in is like a gift box by itself! When I got mine that part of opening it made it fun and rememberable (plus my buddy I was with was SOOOOOO jealous! isn't that supposed to be one of the best parts of having an iPhone?? This is a great phone case. Cheap, effective, my phone feels protected. It's a bit hard to toggle the silent button... and with the grip I have, when turning it off, I tend to accidentally take a screenshot. That could be a me problem. Regardless, the case is very nice. Feels sturdy and looks pretty good. The camera protector is an added bonus. The wooden backing does not look like real wood to me, and is a little too red for my liking. In spite of the '50's "classy" slang, the product is as good as or even better than advertised. The wood is either real or an amazing fake--the coloring, grain and feel are certainly genuine, my 13 max pro charges on its MagSafe pad and best of all, the case is a close fit around the phone. The plastic along the edges is tactile making it easier to hold the phone in, say, a rain storm. A very pleasant surprise and terrific value for the money. ... show more

I was looking for a different phone case and this wooden back one has impressed me enough to write a review. Props to the designer because the case looks good and feels even better. I would pair the case with a screen protector to give the screen a nice transition from edge of case to screen.

The case arrived in an attractive gift type package. Inside the box, the case is wrapped in a faux suede pouch. The case itself feels high quality, and the wood is really smooth to the touch. It is obviously treated and oiled to prevent discomfort while handling. I wouldn’t recommend this case for hiking or use at a construction site. However, this case would be well suited for use mainly at home or office type setting. Aside from the case/pouch, there was an included thank you card appreciating your purchase. The included camera protector was a nice touch and was highly appreciated. I haven’t dropped it yet, but will update if that turns out to be an issue. That said? It seems like it would help prevent scuffing or chipping from hip height drops. Assuming it remains in the case. ... show more
