I originally bought a similar suitcase on Amazon and loved the features, but it was no longer available when I wanted to purchase one as a gift for my mom. After searching for something comparable with good reviews, I decided to try this one, and I was surprised to find that I actually like it even more than the suitcase I bought for myself! This suitcase has so much more room and depth. We were both able to pack everything comfortably and close it without the suitcase bulging. The one I own is slightly slimmer, but it doesn’t have nearly as much interior space, so even a few extra items can make it bulge, become difficult to close, and feel more likely to break. I was able to pack multiple pairs of shoes; the other one I was barely able to put one pair of sneakers in before the suitcase was already bulging or having stuff more stuff in a backpack instead. This one feels much more spacious, practical, and sturdy. It was a great purchase, and now I’m tempted to get one for myself too!

It’s nice, quality is fair. Looks ok, not high end, wasn’t aluminum all around but frame maybe. It’s not super light and was larger than expected. The door on front and the cup holder doesn’t feel super sturdy. The lock are really nice and easy to use. The durability feels alright, took on one round trip flight and it survived. It won’t last forever but will make it a few years with occasional travel. Overall I like it but I thought it would be nicer than it is. Just expected higher quality for the price.

I ordered it close to my departure date and it arrived the day before. I began to add things to the bag and noticed that one of the clips were not working so it wouldn’t close properly. Very disappointing as I was looking forward to using my new bag that I liked very much. I had to take my old carry on since this one didn’t work. It was was an expensive buy to not be able to use it even once. I will try to return it.

I used this suitcase during a 10-day work trip to Brazil and it performed really well. The hard shell feels durable, the wheels roll smoothly through airports, and the expandable storage gave me plenty of room for clothes, work gear, and souvenirs coming back. The front-open pocket was super convenient for quickly accessing my laptop and documents during flights, and I actually ended up using the cup holder and phone holder more than I expected.
