I got this to replace an old Kirkland nylon carry-on bag from 20 years ago. I liked the look of it compared to the Basics brand carry-on. Pros As a carry-on, it seems durable enough. The description says it's made of a PC+ABS hybrid shell. Feels a little thin, but I'm sure it's fine. It's very lightweight and stable on the four spinner wheels. The wheels roll on a flat surface very well without any issues. The extendible handle feels very solid to pull the case along a flat surface. The interior is nicely laid out. One side is completely covered by nylon material to separate the contents and zipped in for added convenience. The lower side has the usual strap to keep things held relatively securely. It has a built-in, TSA friendly zipper lock on the shell. Cons There's only the handle on top. There are no other handles (i.e. the bottom or side) to help you pick it up and place it in the overhead bin. This can be a little awkward and potentially hazardous to whoever is sitting underneath the overhead compartment you're trying to put this up in. The zippers (at first glance) look good and durable, but I noticed that some teeth were not connecting well, and I could feel the overlapping in some parts when I ran my finger over it. Not sure if this is normal, but it makes me wonder if it will stay together without a little help from a luggage strap. Nitpicks The dimensions are slightly bigger than most domestic US airline specs. Not sure if they'll have a fit over it. I haven't had a chance to travel with it just yet, but I'm sure it will do fine. I think I'm going to get a luggage/cargo strap with a handle I can position to grab it from the side. I occasionally check my carry-on bag when I don't want need anything from it in mid-flight. I'm sure the baggage handlers will like the spinners, but not the lack of handles. I am going to look around and see if I can find some kits from third-party manufacturers with handles and bumpers that I can install to help make this work a little better for me.

Sturdy and perfect for a short trip

This suitcase from NINETYGO is a color of green that looks like Army green to me. It is lighter than OD green. ( see photo in my review with my husband’s OD green duffel bag beside this suitcase ). The color compares to a Willys Jeep my father-in-law restored then sold to a GI Joe Museum in Oklahoma. The logo - 01 on the suitcase also compares to the military stencil font used. This is a great color if not trying to match exactly OD green backpacks or duffel bags. The suitcase is lightweight and the shell is called hardshell ABS. It is great for travel by car. If I was taking it on a flight, based on my personal experience flying with this quality of ABS suitcases, I would expect it to have some war wounds after a trip or two. That might just add to the ruggedness of the bag for some. The manufacturer has a tag on the suitcase that says it has a 10 year warranty but no details at all without following the link for registry. It appears to only cover defects in workmanship vs.durability which is understandable to me at the price point. The wheels of this suitcase feel more substantial compared to other similarly prices suitcases that I have chosen in the last couple of years. I have spent quite a bit of time looking for colors like these on suitcases on Amazon. There are some but not a lot that fit this outdoorsy - camo inspired color of green. This is a great choice if searching for this color range based on the current options, I like the somewhat unusual cropped corner design that gives it a different - somewhat industrial look. . I think this is a great looking suitcase for a guy who likes the darker more subdued colors or for a teen or preteen who likes the military or GI Joe. This reference meaning it fits the style that could also be called tactical. I think it would be cool if the manufacturer offered molle loops or things of this nature on the interior of the bag - maybe on the sipper layer that divides the bag. It would take the bag a step further to enhance a tactical market.
