Would definitely recommend! Very durable and easy to assemble. I’m really not sure why there were some bad reviews about this not working. It almost prevented me from purchasing altogether. Glad I went against the reviews and tried it anyway. It works great especially if you can follow the instructions and understand what pieces make the whole thing work. I think some of the negative reviews may have stemmed from user error. For example, there is mesh braiding under the cars that must touch the metal tracks. (See picture.) Also the cars must be positioned in the correct direction. Also, make double sure that the track pieces are completely snapped together. If you follow those tips you’re gold! The tricky part is driving and jumping. Just like with any video game you have to learn to time your jumps and know when to accelerate and decelerate. My 9 year old was able to pick this up pretty quickly. Overall I’m very pleased with this purchase. When in doubt purchase the protection warranty! Happy gaming folks! ... show more

My little one is obsessed with mario kart, so we thought this would be a great toy and less screen time (bonus!). To say he was excited when it came is an understatement and I am heartbroken it's going to have to disappear. Luigi arrived broken. I could superglue the piece back on, but I shouldn't have to do that out of the box. The right track worked for about 10 minutes and now neither car will move on it. I expect slot cars to fly off of the track, that's part of the fun, but this is ridiculous. My kids can barely make it around the track and that's being generous. I'm putting the cars back on the track every 3 to 7 seconds. Save your money. This track is extremely disappointing. It's only saving grace was it was easy to put together, but that's only helpful if it actually works. ... show more
