This rake is amazing. I've tried out a few different "hair removal" rakes like this before but this is the best one I've had so far! It has an adjustable handle/pole so you can fit it to your height, so you are not down on your hands and knees or scrunched over, so your back and knees won't be throbbing/ hurting you before you get to finish cleaning the hair off your rug/floor. The metal head or the "hair removal" end of the rake, looks kinda like a cheese grater except with smaller holes or "grating" area. This piece is different from any of the older style rakes I've tried before. The way they have the rakes head made like the grater, is amazing for removing hair from your carpet. You just take it and "rake" it across your floor, and you do NOT have to use a lot of force, literally just place and pull back towards you and the rake does all the hard work for you. I cleaned my entire large area rug, in less than 10 minutes and the rake pulled out all the dog hairs that had been buried deep into the rug for the 5 years I've had it. And trust me when I tell you, this rug had TONS of dog hair buried so deep into it, I could have probably made 2 medium sized dogs from all the hair this rake pulled out. It also came with a small handheld rake for areas/surfaces that you can't use the big rake on. Thie handheld one is even better than the big adjustable rake. Where this one is smaller and more intimately used, it pulls all the pet hair out with less passes than the big one takes to clean an area. The small handheld one is great for use on my couch and chairs. I'm able to get it down into the tight corners and all the small little crevices the adjustable rake is to big for. It’s 6FT so that makes it super easy to use and since It’s long it’s easier to get to harder places. It’s also very light weight. It scrapes the hair right out of the carpet and it’s got a 1 foot rake so it makes for a fast cleaning. Works great and worth the money!

It’s not an easy tool to use. You really have to put some muscle into it to get all the pet hair but if you can do that, you will be satisfied with the results. It is a good tool, but it takes patience.
