This is an OK beginner board for a young child. It's not fancy but it'll be fun for your child to see if they really like skateboarding before you sink lots of money into an expensive board. I got it for an almost 9 year old boy. He's never skateboarded before and neither have I. I got this as his initial trial into skateboarding. It is small and a bit narrow. Don't get it for an experienced rider or an older child. I'd say age 9 or 10 is the maximum age to ride this board. Nothing really special about the skateboard. It seems sturdy. I wouldn't advise someone over 125 pounds To ride these. If you have a toddler these are a perfect toy for them to learn on.

This couldn't be any more ordinary. It's small....like for a small kid with small feet. That's okay because this one is for a kid. I feel he will be underwhelmed. It's not anything bad, just plain and ordinary and small. I'm only docking one star because it's useable and it's semi sturdy.

I'll start out by saying none of my kids are "skateboarders". But my 4 year old and 6 year old seem to enjoy what little fun they can have on this (and I never was a skateboarder so I can't teach them). Which mostly for them is standing on it and doing one push, or just letting it roll down the hill in our driveway and racing next to it! Now please ignore the edited pictures on the Amazon listing, these are MUCH smaller than the photochop jobs would have you believe. And I'm not sure I'd trust the 176 lb weight limit. I just stood on it without moving and felt a ton of flex with my 200 lbs. Yeah, I'm over the weight limit but that was just a static load. ... show more

Very nice and sturdy skateboard! Very smooth and easy to practice for beginner. 10 year old loves it and has much fun with practicing on it. Comes with wrench for wheel adjustment and service. At around $18 this is the best skateboard you can buy!
