I love this leaf grabber! I’m an elderly grandma in my mid-70s and I have a beautiful magnolia tree in my yard, but at this time of year it sheds leaves like crazy and I have to rake every day to keep up with them. But once I rake the leaves into a pile I get terrible back aches and shoulder aches from bending over to pick up the leaves by hand to put in the leaf bag. So a bit of searching turned up this leaf grabber and i decided to give it a try. I saw a couple reviews about problems with the screws, nuts, wrenches, etc so was a bit worried. But actually it turned out to be pretty easy to put together. It was a little fiddly to line the screws up with the holes but I managed fairly quickly, and the provided spanner and Allen wrench worked great for being able to fully tighten the screws. It feels pretty durable. So for the test I took it out when I went to rake some leaves this morning. It’s HOT here in Florida but luckily the magnolia provides lots of shade at least. So the bottom line is that I love this grabber. It’s very lightweight yet seems durable. Grabbed and picked up the leaves easily and dumped right into the bag. No back or shoulder strain. Grabbed way more leaves with one grab than I could pick up by hand so got a lot more leaves much more quickly. This will definitely make the job so much easier.

This is the best when it comes to removing leaves! Makes it SO easy to pick up the leaves after they are raked in a pile! My 76 year old knees really appreciate not bending!

I purchased in November, 2025. The leaves usually begin to fall in March in this area, so I had to wait awhile before trying the product. It was well worth the wait! Raking is the longest, most tedious part of the leaf collecting process. Usually I'd gather leaves on the rake and do my best to place the leaves into a bag. Lots of bending over and leaves dropping outside of the bag. I also tried using a blower with a reverse option for chopping and collecting, but twigs and mulch, or too many leaves at once would clog the blades. Plus it was very dusty and a pain to dump the leaves from the blower bag to the trash bag. This leaf grabber has saved me so much time and effort. I grabbed up eight bags of leaves in a record amount of time. Plus no more bending over. My back felt great for a change. Plus it was easy to place the grabber into the trash bag to release the leaves. I highly recommend if you want to save your back from getting sore. It also does make quick work of gathering leaves from the piles. Now I just need to find a faster, easier way to rake the leaves!

I absolutely love this leaf grabber rake. I looked at many different products before choosing what to buy. I was having problems with the constant bending down, standing back up and my back locking up. The handles on this are a little shorter than I expected. Though I do wish the handles themselves were slightly longer, (for reference I am 5’5”), I still think this is an excellent product. It has made cleaning up the leaves in my yard significantly easier. I’d even borrowed it out to friends because of ease of use.

Whomever invented this, I humbly bless you! This tool has saved my back! Before, I had been using the leaf grabber hand mitts, which grabbed a great deal of leaves, but the constant bending to pick the piles up left me sore for days afterward. The ease in using this tool works well in grabbing a LOT of leaves, making my time outdoors minimal, which I love. The tool's weight is light and easy to manage. It took no time at all in putting together, and seems well constructed. This was a great purchase for sure!

So I bought this item to make my life easier. Well maybe it will if I ever get it together. It should be easy, but the threads on the screws are a nightmare to install, even with a large wrench. The wrench in the package is totally worthless. I am an older woman with small hands, but usually you just need to tighten the screws a little. These screws have to be tightened a lot. I have spent 45 minutes getting two screws installed. I am putting this aside for now and will go outside and bend over to pick up leaves, which is what I was trying to avoid. How hard should it be to at least send a small wrench that is not the size of a toy. I can’t review how well it works until I put it together.
