  • Amazing set for floral scent addicts!
I LOVE the smell of flowers, so I collect many plants and grow them (even tropical ones) so that I could sniff the blossoms all day. All of these fragrance oils smell very strong directly out of the bottles, but they're all so lovely when subtlely wafted through an oil diffuser. Jasmine - Have you grown Asiatic Jasmines? I did - all different species, and this smells like the incredible aromatic Maid Of Orlean. I stopped buying the plant because I kept killing them indoors, but now I could sniff this all day. As soon as I smelled this, I was so happy and felt like it made up for the entire purchase. If you love the smell of the Confederate Jasmine or Madagascar Jasmine, this is not what you're looking for. In fact, I've tried the Honeysuckle fragrance oil by P&J, and that smells more like non-Asiatic jasmines than any honeysuckles. Lilacs & Lilies - YES! Smells very much like the reblooming Josee lilac bushes I grow. LOVE! Lavender - I have 4 different types growing in my garden. Smells very strong out of the bottle, but through a diffuser diluted down, smells just like I'm working in my garden next to the bushes. Rose Garden - I used to wear the Tea Rose perfume by Perfumer's Workshop until I couldn't smell fresh roses for a long time. I also collected and grew any rose with a high reputation for fragrance, and this smells like a bouquet of fresh tea roses. I'm going to have to be careful so that my olfactory sense doesn't get desensitised by sniffing this all day. Plumeria - Yup I tried growing them but I lived in a zone 5 then and the plants sadly never flowered. Although they can differ quite a bit across species, the ones I smelled were citrusy/peachy/sweet. This smells like a pink bubblegum with a bit of Juicy Fruit, cloying and more stagnant than any real plumeria. Still nice to mix up with other scents. Violet - None of the violets I grew had a strong scent, and when they do smell, the scent is so fleeting with subtle sweet green fresh fragrance, so I can't say this smells like violets, at least not the ones I've smelled. This smells sweet and powdery, like purple violet candles you'd smell at stores. I prefer to use these fragrance oils in humidifying diffusers way diluted down rather than wearing them on my body. I've learned the lessons over the years not to do that if I want my nose to function correctly to be able to smell the real things. Experimenting and mixing them up for that indescribable Je Ne Sai Quoi wafting aroma is so much fun, and I'm going to have to rotate as much as possible so that I don't get used to the scents. I am very happy with this collection, and I'll definitely be gifting this set to people who I know share my passion for floral scents. ... show more

  • Nice scents
Scent: Fruitalicious
1 bottle had leaked even though it was still closed when it arrived. I think it has a bad seal. I haven’t used them yet so I don’t know how strong the scents will be in MP soap once I make them.

  • Works
Scent: Sweet Gift
Updated review- We made couple more batches of toy embedded soap bars using this product. So my two kids and their friends sniffed all the bottles and had wildly different opinions on which scents being great or not. It was interesting. So far, we've made soaps using all but the chocolate scent (my hubby thinks chocolate scented bar soap will be weird). Smelling from the bottle, our least favorite was blue cotton candy. One visiting child said that was her favorite. I actually used it in making soap - combining blue cotton candy with bubble gum scent (someone left a review how that was great). I regret doing that. Bubble gum alone smells just like bubble gum. Most kids would've liked it. With blue cotton candy mixed in, I think it smells bad - reminds me of cough medicine smell? So don't do that. So, our least favorite is blue cotton candy (I'm going to give it to that special child who loved it). Our most favorite scent is orange creamsicle. Peaches and cream is fine. Oatmeal cookie dough is alright. Bubble gum is fine. Important update from previous review- use many drops if making soap. We've realized that scent is faint if we use only few drops making soap. In order for a soap to smell enough, we now use like 12-15drops for 2c of melted melt and pour soap base. I hope this helps others out. This brand is fine. Price was really good so I'd buy from this brand again. We bought it to make kiddie soap bars. Just made our first batch of soap using Peach scent. Little really goes long way. I think we put 4 or 5 drops to six bar worth of melt and pour soap base. Peach smells good. Rest smells accurate from the bottle anyway. Packaging is cute- in its own box. The bottles are attractive in the box. Bottle doesn't look like it will leak-yay! It would make a nice gift. I didn't know you can use it for diffusers and air fresheners. I'll have to try that in the future. ... show more

  • Great sample pack
Scent: Freshly Baked
I order sample packs for candle making, so I can find the scents my husband likes. These 10ml bottles are perfect for making 12 small votives. I use the glass cups you can buy at Hobby Lobby for $7 a dozen right now. Once the unscented candle is spent, the empty cup serves as a mold for making refills. The blueberry pancake is his favorite in this set, so I'll be ordering more. His sister visited last week, and fell in love with the butterscotch cookie dough, so I have ordered more of that scent in a larger bottle, and made her a gift for her birthday. The creamy nutmeg smells to me like eggnog, one of my holiday comfort foods. The only one in this scent collection I don't care for is the chocolate fondue, which has perfume undertones that mask any chocolate smell. I really hoped it would invoke memories of my visit to Hershey, PA, where the smell of warm chocolate is everywhere, so was disappointed, but overall, it was a good set to try. ... show more
