Let me start with the slowly-changing images video, because this is my favorite one. The crystal clear water, the amazing sea creatures and the beautiful piano music are so peaceful and relaxing, they mesmerize you. I find it perfect to play before bedtime. And always when the clown fish show up, my toddler sits in front of the TV and whispers NEMO, it’s NEMO on TV, the real one. Tip: if you want your child to relax and be quiet: put on an aquarium video or underwater video: Assured Success! The four Aquarium Videos really freshen up my living room. I play the videos when friends and family come to visit me. It’s like a living painting or wallpaper and a unique decoration. I also love to play the video in the background when I’m working or reading. You can choose different sound options: ocean sounds aquarium bubbles piano music The first aquarium video shows the most colorfull and bright coral reef and tropical fish I have ever seen. The second aquarium video displays a great variety of hard and soft corals and small and larger tropical fish, like a blue tang (Dory in Nemo). In the third aquarium video you encounter more bright colored tropical fish: meet the blue tang, yellow tang and discus fish. Excellently and professionally put together and is as described regarding filming of real fish species and varieties of colorful sea coral. The built-in menu choices that appear after you load the DVD are very easy to work with. I just had to remember to point my remote at the DVD player and not the TV screen that was displaying the menu system to make things happen! We are running this on an older Samsung 32" diagonal TV screen and a Sylvania DVD player. The resolution and colors are great. I can only imagine what it would look like on the newest TV technologies. In addition to the ocean sounds (i.e. Calm Sea, Beach Sounds, no tank-bubble sounds though) you can also select Piano Music, or a combo of both. The piano music by itself is several sequences of soft piano playing, then later includes a segment of soft violin type instrumentals. Very relaxing! After 3 or 4 minutes of my wife watching the fish and listening to the piano music while lying on the sofa, she was out like a light! The Calm Sea choice is more like the sea foam sounds akin to shallow water coming up onto the sandy shoreline, then drawing back into the ocean. The Beach Sounds are like shallow and gentle waves lapping the shoreline at a lake or oceanfront - our favorite. There are 4 background scenes to choose from with very colorful soft and hard coral life with fish swimming in and around them. Two show the underside surface of the water above, and the other two are deeper images where the water surface is not shown. Lastly, there is a 'Tropical Film' choice with several scenes that are slow moving films to see large panoramic views of fish, coral, and "ocean floor" that is very entertaining. Lots of variety of everything you would expect in an aquarium environment. Plenty to see, as it was filmed in and around a 20 foot aquarium tank per the DVD cover! What I also like is that the images, fish activity and sounds that you may choose, continue to play automatically and indefinitely - until you elect to stop or change it. All very well done and well worth the money. I am even considering buying a spare aquarium DVD for a backup, or to run on my computer.

For this DVD, I ordered it thinking it was an aquarium. The title says "Tropical Reef Aquarium".. For that reason, because the title and the DVD do not match, I gave this product a four star rating. As it turned out, I was in the middle of building an indoor very large sunken ship ocean scene in my home. I actually needed the sound of the ocean; and that is what I got. (so for me it turned out good), but if you want an aquarium sound; this wouldn't be the DVD. )... This DVD has great color and the fish are beautiful. The coral and the plants are gorgeous. I play this DVD beside a water fall scenery of a small sunken ship scape on one full /small wall in my entry. It's gorgeous. I also play it on a larger screen in the summer under a different ocean scenery in the living room. The waves of the ocean is what the sound is like; just fit for what I built- I have to say, the colors are vibrant and beautiful and the sound is so soothing it puts one to sleep. I'll buy one more for my bedroom area because I do want the ocean sounds; if that isn't what you are looking for, you probably will want to find a different DVD with an aquarium sound of bubbles and filters and such. The business needs to change it's title for this one. Hope this helps.

I put this in the DVD player for the first time & literally zoned out for over an hour watching it. The water is crystal clear & colors are bright. There are many varied colors & types of fish. There are small shrimp & large clams in the foreground. Numerous beautiful anemones. The corals are spectacular. It has an option of scanning slowly through a tank or staying on 1 of 4 different tanks. You can play with music (calm music or piano music) & waves or each alone. Also, you can play with just beach sounds in the background. It is extremely relaxing with the music & waves together. Was not as beautiful on my 780pi 32 inch screen, but was absolutely spectacular on my 42 inch 1080pi TV.

Prior to purchasing this video, I did my research, to look at the other videos on Amazo, and really thought that I was making a good purchase. I like others I read reviews; the reviews seem good, but that was not necessarily my experience. The first thing that turned me off was that the water sounds on the aquarium is a sound for the ocean and not for an aquarium. So the loudness of the water- and the swishing noise that it makes, takes away from the serenity that you would get from watching fish in a fish tank setting. I also noticed that the same sounds were basically "copied and pasted" to the other parts of the video, when each sound should have been different , of which it was not. I felt the entire video was made poorly and presented in a way that people thought they were getting the serenity of a fish tank but the other components that were added to it, completely took away from the entire video. I must say I was disappointed!

I can't have a real aquarium, but this beautiful DVD is a close second. The visual effects are mesmerizing, and the sound effects are just right. There are choices of 4 aquarium scenes, all lovely, and you can choose 4 audio effects. The ocean and water sounds are peaceful and soothing, and the musical choices are appropriate, not too loud, just right. I often put this DVD on while I am doing paperwork and business problems, and find it very relaxing. If I put it on while lying down, I know I would fall asleep! It's very nice, you'll love it, too!

This DVD is delightful. There are 3 movies that you can choose from. Two have ocean (water) sounds and one has a lovely musical background. The movies loop for continuous play, so it is very much like sitting in front of your very own aquarium watching the fish swim by. The photography is amazingly beautiful, the colors are so vivid and alive. I would recommend this DVD to anyone who loves to watch fish and can't have an aquarium in their home. It is very peaceful to watch and makes a nice background for any activity.

I LOVED this DVD, but the main feature only played twice. The 3rd time it just froze. I can still watch the other features, but the main feature is the most spectacular and is the one for which I purchased this product. My other DVDs play without issue, so I'm certain the problem is with this product. If it were still playing I would probably give it 5 stars. As is, it's very disappointing.
