I took a real chance by buying this on-line but it is a great selection! Just the right size, the sterling silver chain is so dainty and it is stunning, but hardly overpowering and the price is right for such a beautiful piece! The only drawback is the closure which I would need time and a microscope to close, and plan to wear it often and don't want to fuss that much. So I am taking it to a jeweler to get a different closure, which is easier to deal with. Magnetic would be perfect. Otherwise, it is truly beautiful, more than just a piece of jewelry! Edit: I took it to a jeweler and had a tiny sterling silver magnet closure on it! This enables you to put it on and take it off in a second. Perfect!!! ... show more

This necklace is stunning. I have yet to wear it to the gym, but I have occasionally worn it in the shower and to sleep when I am not wearing my silver cross, and I have not seen any wear on it. My dad keeps asking me if it is real! The patients that I work with compliment it nearly everyday that I am at work!
