I love the Bamboo Duvet comferter. I use it by itself and I don't put the Cariloha Duvet inside of it because the comforter itself it so soft. On my bed first I put on my Cariloha sheets, then I put on the comforter (by itself), Then I put the duvet on top. This way, I get the experience of bamboo fabric no matter what the temperature is and I can adjust how much warmth I need based on how many layers of bamboo fabric I get under. It feels and looks fabulous!

I have been using Cariloha bedding for several years at this point and am a big fan of their product line. This past week I decided to order to try out their comforter to see if it could live up to its claim for "all season" usage. I struggle during the fall with the wide fluctuation of temperatures at night and in particular as a more sensitive sleeper who tends to overheat with the wrong sheets. Although this comforter is well designed and quite comfortable, I personally did not find it suitable for nights that are cool (average temperatures inside) but not that cold that I would need a heavier comfortable.

I want to love this. It has many pros. It’s so soft and I love how it brightens up the room. My kid got something brown on it (chocolate or poop, we’ll never know) and it wiped right off with a baby wipe so that was a pleasant surprise since it’s DRY CLEAN ONLY and who is really going to take a giant blanket to the dry cleaners? It’s thin enough to not make you wake up drenched in sweat and the material is cold, which is what I specifically look for in a comforter. But I’m a light sleeper and it makes noise when it moves. Not as loud as the paper bag sound my daughters down comforter makes, but still a noticeable noise in the quiet of night. Not a deal breaker though. It’s also pretty wrinkly but I don’t really care much about that. The pros outweigh the cons in my opinion and I think as it ages I’ll love it more, though I definitely do NOT think it’s a $300 value.

I had previously purchased a fluffier style duvet, but the fill produced feathers and the quills sometimes poked through. This one has a nice weight to it and is very comfortable. Also, the previous duvet had a cover that was a bit stiff and had a "crinkly" feel to it whereas this cover is very soft and smooth with no stiffness. I suppose a lot of it comes down to taste but for me this is a perfect fit for my sleeping comfort.

I was truly disappointed. It is flat as a bedspread, nothing as advertised, the fill barely there. You are better off purchasing the less expensive comforters they at least are as advertised.

The range of temperatures at night can be all over the place here at home, but this by far the most adaptable comforter we have ever owned. Super soft on the skin, but substantial enough to take a 20 degrees drop in the night air. I have purchased the bamboo/linen duvet to cover our king bedspread from Cariloha, and hope that the feel is as good as this comforter...if not- Nothing between our skin and this sumptuous comforter, as we don't sleep with a top sheet ;0)

Considering we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed, why not spend a little extra to ensure you're wrapped in the softest and coolest option I've ever encountered. I'm a hot sleeper and have spent many nights constantly sweating. Since changing out my sheets to Cariloha with this Duvet Comforter, I've had one of the coolest nights sleeps I can remember. I absolutely look forward to getting under the sheets more now then ever.
