So I got this for myself because I didn't want to seal my husband's. I am 5'4 and I don't have a big head. I would say it's average to small. So when I put it on the top of it was still popping up. Although the washing instructions say not to machine wash I did anyways because I was hoping to shrink it a bit. It didn't ruin it at all. It came out perfectly fine and I did make it a bit smaller for me thankfully. Keeps me really warm. We live in OREGON so it's gets cold here.
