These appear to be the same material and construction as the Carhartts that I've worn for nearly 10 years and can't wear out but finally outgrew them. The material is tough but they're nice enough to wear out to casual dinner, etc. There are plenty of belt loops. The phone pocket accommodates my big iPhone 12+. I take 'em out of the dryer warm and smooth 'em out and wrinkles are not a problem. I'm 6'3" 260 lbs and wear pants below my belly and the Relaxed Fit is good for me. My only complaint is that the cell phone pocket is on the right side of the pant and I'm left-handed so growing up in a right-handed world left-handers are always discriminated against and this time is no different. Great shorts. I have a 32 inch waist ordered those. I should have bought a 33 inch. I don't have to wear a belt my midsection holds them in place albeit a little uncomfortable.

The great quality that you expect from Carhartt. In the last 5-10 years Carhartt is the only clothing I have bought, I just don't see the same quality in other brands. They don't tend to wear out like other brands either. They keep up the quality & yet lightweight.

Super comfy, they run small, so order one size up. But the one feature you’re going to love is instead of a small little change pocket on the right side of the pants inside the main pocket, they’ve made it bigger to accommodate, wait for it, a cell phone! Super secure, super comfy, super practical, I can’t believe this is the first time a pant manufacturer has done this. They should’ve been doing this a long, long time ago!
