These are my favorite simple go-to work shorts, by far. They also easily double as casual shorts that could be worn to any nice outing. Canvas material feels great, and actually got softer after the first wash. Length and cut both feel great at size 34 on a 6'7" 200lbs man. Carhartt products are expensive, often too pricey for what they are if you ask me, but I've yet to find a product of theirs I didn't like, and these are the best 4/5-pocket work shorts I've ever bought. ... show more

These shorts are excellent. The pros are: 01) Great fit. Not too baggy and not too tight. 02) Deep pockets to safely hold stuff without worrying about things falling out. 03) Excellent deep phone pocket at the side. My 5.3" phone stays in even while getting up and down from low seats. 04) Good long zip fly that makes it easy to answer Nature's call. The cons are: 01. The zip fly while nice and long takes some effort to zip and un-zip. Minor quibble though. 02. Cost. The price is pretty steep (over $41 with tax) Yes, I'd buy them again. ... show more

All I wear are Carhartt shorts during the summer but this pair has a small belt loop on the front two sides so I can’t wear my belt that I wear all the time with every other pair of shorts and jeans I wear. I don’t understand why they would put smaller belt loops on this pair of Carhartt shorts but unless this is the only type of shorts that have these small belt loops I will stop buying Carhartt shorts because I’m not going to change belts for these shorts I’ll buy different shorts instead ... show more
