I got these shirts for my husband and sons for family pictures. After reading reviews, I decided to order a size down because everyone was saying they were huge. I ended up returning things and getting the regular sizes they usually wear. Carhartt is a looser fit for "country guys" that work physically so they have larger shoulders and body in general and looser fit which my guys like. It is a typical fit for Carhartt, not an oversized model for them--just not the typical modern, metropolitan fit that some prefer. This Carhart shirt is very nice. The description calls it a midweight shirt, but it has a light linen feel and texture to it. The shirt is very oversized, so I would suggest sizing down 1 size. Other than that, would buy again! Nice casual button down shirt.

I usually wear a Large and this fit well. The material is soft yet ample, and feels good to the touch. And while it is not "wrinkle free," it hold its structure very well, probably due to being a medium weigh material. The only reason I did not go 5 stars is it is a bit long compared to most of my other shirts, including other Carhartt shirts of the same size, and I like to wear shirts out, not tucked in. I love the way these shirts fit. They’re well put together and they’re a little bit on the large side for the size but that’s OK because that’s how I like them. It seems to me that so far they are made well and that they will last.

This is a cotton twill shirt that's got good substance to it, and a great FEEL. It's not too light, not too heavy. Like the rest of the shirt, buttons are well-sewn on. A very well done shirt, sure to last. Excellent!
