I love this jacket. In fact I bought another. It is surprisingly warm, extremely lightweight, and it fits perfectly - not baggy but not slim-fit either.

I ordered this jacket for my husband for his birthday. It's a good fit and stylish for a utility coat. It was surprisingly thin for a sportswear coat but my husband says it's warm for it's weight. The pockets are not zippered considering it's a sportswear coat.

Jacket fit and feel is really good. I live in an area that gets a lot of cold wind but not much precipitation. The wind resistance of this jacket is really good. With a warm base layer, sweater, and a scarf I can wear this jacket in below freezing temps with above 20mph winds and be comfortable outside for hours. I wear a 15 1/2, 32/33 dress shirt and the medium Gilliam jacket is a perfect fit. The pockets are in easy locations, the zippered exterior breast pocket is easy to access and secure for wallet, cell phone etc and has a headphone access port. I have not had the jacket in heavy rain but it does fine in moderate drizzle. The only thing I don't particularly like about it is the Velcro wrist cuffs, I prefer the elastic band type, but I've gotten used to the Velcro and it doesn't bother me. I can be pretty hard on clothing, I'll update this post in 6 months or so and let you know how it holds up to everyday wear in a maintenance shop and on a farm. 6 year update: Yes, I’ve had this same jacket for 6 years now and it is my go to farm jacket. Easy to put on and take off it is not for extreme cold weather but perfect for 90% of what I need. I cannot believe how well it has worn! I have had it on the ground while working under equipment on gravel and rocky terrain with no damage. There are a couple of tears in it from barbed wire but I can’t fault it for that. It is still as wind proof as the day I bought it. I highly recommend this coat!

Coat is great. Very warm for the weight. Some stitching is coming apart however it may be due to catching on something. Worst part of coat was getting the sticker residue off the sleeve. Why would you put this on your fabric?? Still a better value than North Face at 1/4 the price.
