I looked up sizing and it said medium is 10/12 in Carhartt - it came down to her knees, I returned and orders a small and it fits just a tiny bit big but perfect for growing room, the sleeves come over her hands which is ok. I ordered this in a women's XL, but it's nowhere near true to size. I read other reviews mentioning the sizing issue, but I thought surely it would have been corrected by now or maybe those customers just underestimated their size. Nope! This is absolutely not a women's hoodie, it doesn’t fit even slightly. That being said, the material is incredibly soft and feels like the thick, high-quality fabric you'd expect from Carhartt. It is very beautiful and appears as if it would be very warm. The front pocket seems just as thick as the rest of the hoodie. If the sizing were accurate, this would have been perfect.
