I got my first big-girl office job and wanted to make it a habit of packing my own lunch for both my own preferences and to save on eating out where I can. I was looking for something to bring my lunch in that had good insulation, was well-made to withstand the daily wear-and-tear of commuting, and held a lot of snacks (bonus points if it could do this without looking bulky!) This has definitely checked off all of those boxes for me. The brand is reputable, and so I'm not surprised the quality has been solid despite me lugging it or dragging it every so often since I have to carry so many things to work. It has a sleek, simple design that isn't flashy but isn't too "frumpy" (?). Moreover, it can carry A LOT of things! The top section is great for bottled or canned drinks and is separated from the main section by netting. Along with that, I usually fit another tupperware or two and various packaged snacks inside. I upgraded to this Carhartt lunch pail after my cheaper one started leaking after six months, and I’m so glad I did. This one keeps my lunch frozen or chilled well into the afternoon – even around 4 pm my food and drinks are still cold with an ice pack.
