This is a very high quality set. The pieces have a nice feel, the board is flocked and has ridges so the pieces stay in place. I think this game will last decades!

This is a great game. The board and pieces arent as thick and heavy as the originals back in the 80s but a good qualy for todays standards. It would help if the manufacturer would add extra pieces in case one is lost or damaged rather than only getting the exact amount needed to play game.

First, I want to mention that the order arrived very quickly. Second, this game is made very well. The board and pieces are of high quality, and it would make for a great gift. The game is very easy to learn and is enjoyable to play - children and adults alike. I very much recommend.

    • Not the heavy pieces
I paid double for this set of othello thinking it was the good quality heavy pieces but instead they are the super light weight plastic pieces. If you want the heavy pieces I donor recommend this set.
