We used as a part of a Oscar themed Christmas party. They are tall and sturdy. A little hard to put together at first . 2 nd one was a breeze to put together once we got it. The stand worked great for a surprise birthday party - Wanted something to get individual pictures of all the guests. The only draw back was that guests need to be almost 6 feet tall to get their heads in the correct position to match up to the profiles. My photographer had shorter guests move out the bottom of the stand and place their heads correctly. We didn't have a short enough step to accomplish, especially with two short people in the pictures. These headless folks are tall. Had to stand on a stair for 'head' to fit. Once figured out - had lots of fun w them. Use the Step-on-a-chair strategy and have fun.
