You must use the choke tip and threads in the kit. I've tried to contact the Onsail people to see if this can be repaired or if I missed something. ZERO Contact or support. Looks like I'll be looking at another unit or a rebuild kit. OH...The fuel filter wont fit the Polaris 500HO either. its has to small diameter male ends.     • Polaris Carburetor
After replacing my leaking carburetor, my Polaris 500 was difficult to start, would not idle. Attempted adjustment, could not resolve. Re-installed the original carburetor, started and idled okay, but still leaking gas. I would not recommend purchasing this replacement carburetor.

    • Recommend using loctite!
This worked great at first but the vibrations from the bike made all the screws fall out lol. I recommend as soon as you get this to rebuild it adding a little bit of loctite to the threads of each screw. **Including internal screws!!*

I ordered this because when you check fitment, it claimed that it would fit a 1996 polaris magnum 425. It in fact is way off. The carb does not fit the intake boot at all, it is too large to fit. You can see the the old carb almost fits into the new one.
