Ordered this for my 1983 John Deere 112L lawn tractor with Kawasaki FB460V engine. It fit perfectly, seemed to work fine. Turns out my fuel filter was my issue, so put the old carb back on. Will keep this as a back-up.

    • Engine surges with this carburetor
Installed to Kawasaki specifications and adjusted mixture and idle. Engine continuously surges at any setting other than idle. Replaced it with my cleaned original and surging went away.

it was new, it was shiny and it worked for 2 lawn mowings - it would not run unless I had the choke almost closed, I put the old carburetor back on and my mower worked perfect. problem I had with my mower was it would not start, everybody told me replace the carburetor which I did, that did not work, the valves were out of adjustment was the problem not the carburetor. too late to send it back, but I have a shiny new carburetor.
