Direct replacement. Swapped with the old one, turned the fuel back on, and it fired up within seconds on the first crank. Way easier than trying to clean out the many intricate passageways inside and hoping it works. Some carbs are easy to swap and easy to clean, so trying to rebuild is worth the risk. This one is somewhat of a PITA to remove/reinstall, and more complex. For the price, I'd rather just swap it with something brand new that worked beautifully and didn't require any adjustments. ... show more
