I had to change out the butter fly rod and lever from my old carb to new carb, was simple. Great product carb. Filter and hose are incorrect not even gonna attempt to try the plug, switch is not required on my gen. THE CARB HOWEVER WORKS FIRST PULL SHE FIRED RIGHT UP!

This Carburetor fit my old generator perfect, had every thing I needed. I have a 2005 Amico 7200 Generator that hasn't run for years. I was shopping for a new generator and was told by a friend to rebuild carb and it would run. After checking on rebuild kits, found this brand new carb for a few dollars more. When it arrived I installed it and the new spark plug (Cleaned out gas tank and filled with fresh fuel) generator started after a few pulls and ran great, no adjustments needed. A new carburetor from Generac was $73 plus shipping. This kit included a factory spark plug, and fuel line and filter, and much more that I didn't need. Installed new carb, filter, and spark plug in 20 minutes and it fired up and ran perfect on the first pull. The small engine shop wanted over $100 to overhaul the old carb and do a tune up and was booked out over two weeks plus had to drive 20 mile round trip to deliver the generator and pick it up.. Ordered this kit late afternoon and had it 24 hours later! May buy another one to have a spare on the shelf. ... show more

Generac GP5500, 2015, worked as drop in replacement and runs perfectly. No complaints - cost effective and works as it should. Will be purchasing a second as a spare just in case. This generator was always very difficult to start, even brand new right out of the box. Almost every time I'd have to use starting fluid to get it going no, it ran great once it was going. After I installed this new carburetor, it started on the first pull and it has again every time I've tested it since for the last month.
