    • This works perfectly for my 24HP Nikki V-Twin
I recently picked up a 52-in Husqvarna zero turn mower that had been sitting for many years. Local shops wanted over $100 for a carburetor rebuild kit. I stumbled upon this and thought it was too good to be true but worth the risk (It's Amazon, You can always send it back if it doesn't work) Worked like a charm. It came with several different sized gaskets and a choke baffle of some kind that I ended up not using (I assume it's for the smaller HP engines?) It didn't come with any kind of instructions but it's as simple as taking off the old parts and installing the new ones. The fuel line definitely would not have been long enough had I needed to replace all of mine but was just right since the line between my tank and shut off was still fine. The only thing I could think of that should be in this kit would be the oil and a crush washer. My only real complaint is how poorly packaged it was. It all comes packed like Tetris (spark plugs tucked in the air filter) but the box is made of paper instead of cardboard and they just slapped a sticker on it. There was absolutely no sort of protection and my first package got destroyed before it made it to me and returned after only making it halfway. The one I actually received was more or less destroyed as well and UPS actually rang my doorbell and asked if I wanted to accept it because the packaging wasn't such bad shape. The parts were all falling out. Everything was still together (in a bag wrapped in tape at this point) So I accepted it. ... show more

This kit has everything needed but came with the wrong spark plugs. Otherwise, I changed the carb using instructions on YouTube, air filter, oil and filter, fuel filter. Purchased correct spark plug from Lowes (my kit actually came with 2 spark plugs. I saw a bunch of folks complaining they only received 1 plug). Mower now starts up the first time I turn the key. Sears quoted me $600 (parts & labor) to replace the carb. ... show more

    • Faulty Fuel/Backfire Solenoid
Unit installed perfectly. Would have been nice to also have manifold o-rings, but I managed to re-use them. Replaced fuel filter, pump etc as well as spark plugs. Could not get unit to start after install. After some investigation, I determined that the engine would only start if I tapped on the carburetor fuel solenoid. I took it off and it would not actuate when 12V was applied, but if you pulled the plunger out, then it might work. Luckily my old carb had a good solenoid, so I swapped it out and it runs perfectly. So I am not going to return the carb since it is installed, but it would be nice to have a partial refund or a replacement solenoid. For this reason, I am leaving a one star review. Will revise if the seller makes good on it. ... show more

    • Fixed the popping and surging
Took me an hour and 15 minutes to install and the mower fired right up. The only issue I saw was the vaccuum line to fuel pump is aging - would be nice to have a replacement for that included in the kit, but overall the kit was very useful. Mower back like new!
