    • Missing parts fresh out of the box…
Removed from box, removed float bowl. First issue is the float is not adjusted properly, second is there are no markings on the jets indicating the sizes, third the accelerator nozzle o ring is missing. Zero quality control, casting sucks, don’t waste your time on Chinese carbs.

This PUCKY Carburetor is a decent replacement for the big twin. the functionality seems Identical to the S&S but as a useable replacement. It's by all means no showpiece as there are some pretty good scratches in the body on the outside. Seems like they shipped a big box of castings to PUCKY and they put them together (Which is not uncommon.) The Carb throat does look well finished though. Jet threading is fine and gasket surfaces had a few scratches, but not bad. A plus is it comes with 3 extra jet sizes to fit all models on the listing.     • drilled and tap choke problem
May I say, If there's a way to make changes, The carb is ok but, IF the ones that are tapping the threads in the choke pipe would not tap the threads all the way down, it would last and be a good carb. the choke hole shouldn't be that sloppy when the choke piston is in. After a while (a year or so) its like running with choke open. ( run crappy) Have one that only last 2years because of that issue. and also the new one I just bought was tapped all the way down but working so far. 3rd S&S copy I've bought. S&s fits tight. thank you for a fair price. Set the right jets and run it till goes out ... show more
