Got this product about 6 months ago and it worked so well. Son said it was terrific. I purchased again since I am cleaning whole oven, which gets pretty bad from all my baking/roasting. Works so well.

Good value. It didn't get my racks super clean, and they still required an amount of scrubbing that I don't have the patience for. I think the issue is that it's hard to make sure every bit of the racks are sufficiently coated, and stay coated. It did work well on the areas that were well coated. Directions were easy to follow. When finished my oven racks looked great. The price I paid for this well worth it.

    • Bag came with hole
I am sure that this product is great BUT I could not use it properly. The racks were in the bag and our racks have no sharp edges besides on one end and that was the end at the top near the zip lock part.. We poured the solution in and zipped it up on a chair of the table in the kitchen. I carried the bag to the sink and dripped solution all the way. It was leaking from a corner where the seams meet. It was not a puncture but a problem with manufacturing. My husband was there thankfully and helped to wipe it up immediately and it doesn't look like there's any damage from the liquid but it did drip on an area rug so I am still worried about that . I did move the liquid around as much as I could which only covered about the bottom third of the racks. If i moved it more the solution would go on the side of the bag and we would get it on our skin. After about an hour and a half I decided to tackle the clean up and take the racks out since we could not use properly. The section of the racks that did come in contact with the solution were remarkably clean in that short of time. I don't have any advice on how to tell if there is a fault with the seam in a bag but I will say do this over the sink. I thought it would be better to have the racks and bags at a lower level so we could be above them but in this case it was a total mistake. ... show more

    • Solution works but design is severely flawed
I have a love hate relationship with this product. The solution definitely works to get baked on grease/stains off grill grates. for mine, it took a few applications, but it works. The issue is the bag you store them in is not durable enough for the purpose. Grill and oven grates are usually heave any have somewhat pointed ends - these easily puncture the bag causing the solution to pour out (which is not only ineffective for the process, but also dangerous as it's toxic). I purchased 4 of these and no matter how carefully I handled them, when flipping throughout the process to make sure the grates were fully covered, the bag always punctured. There either needs to be more solution so entire grates can be submerged without the need to flip, or the bag needs to be far more durable. ... show more

Really super product. I was impressed. Chemicals not hard at all if any. No scrubbing and made my wracks super clean and shinning. Let 2 soap for 24 hours- rotated bag. Very happy.
