This was very high quality. I have played for several years and this is my new favorite paddle. I love the texture on the face that will allow for greater spin and control. The handle feels great and I love that it comes with extra tape as well as a nice bag to hold it all. No regrets at all.

All this for $80? You get 4 balls, 4 grip tapes, and an eraser. And a cheap nylon bag to hold everything. This is all you need to play pickleball. You literally need nothing else. Weight: 8.0 oz Grip circumference: 4.25'' Face Texture: rough/coarse Grip quality: excellent This is truly perfect for a beginner. The weight is on the lighter side so you can swing the ball easily. The grip quality is excellent. It feels nice and has a nice tackiness. The texture is something called rough/coarse. And it's the best texture you can get so you can spin the ball. (Many paddles are rough/fine which isn't as good for spinning.) At this price, it's really an awesome deal. My only criticism is the state of the box. It came a bit damaged. Not a big deal, but if this is to be a gift, this might be an issue.

I love trying out pickleball paddles from brands I’ve never tried before. I’ve been using some T700 carbon paddles from another company (though 14mm), so I had an idea of how they would feel. I think I'll probably stick to my favorite Joola for now, but this seems like a decent deal in terms of overall quality versus price. It has a good spin, but because I am very used to playing with 14mm paddles that weigh less than 8.0 oz (my ideal paddle would be somewhere around 7.7 to 7.9 oz), this one was a bit heavier than I would have liked. Again, this is only because I prefer lightweight paddles. I think this set of two is perfect for families who like to play together. For example, if you learned how to play with inexpensive paddles (under $50), and want to up your games a bit without wanting to spend $150+ per person, this would be perfect from the standpoint of price/performance. I think I will eventually donate this to the charity where I volunteer so more less fortunate people can enjoy pickleball without worrying about equipment costs.

A lot of paddle for the price and you get 2. I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the paddles and texture of the hitting surface. For the price range, these paddles generates a lot more spin than other paddles I have tested, and plays more constantly with paddles prices 2x as much, and you get 2 for the price. I am still very much an amateur player, but enjoy testing all paddles I can get my hands on. These paddle are in the short stack of preferred paddles to play with based on pop, and surface texture. I feel like the face is very forgiving while still maintaining control. Quality spin shots generate a lot of spin. Getting two of the same paddle is great for a backup or a playing parter playing with the same quality paddle.
