I purchased this with the intent of bending some plywood (used this bit in a router on a track to cut a few slots along the length of the board – kerf bending technique, but replacing the squared-off kerf from a blade with a conical kerf. Performed just as well as I had hoped. Decent value.

These are great for pocketing especially when you have text in the pocket and want to be able to clean in the tight areas of the text. This bit actually has a combined angle of 14°. If you find that the 14° angle is too much they do make an 1/8 version that the included angle is 8° so it can get into tighter areas. ... show more

I do a bit of wood carving but retired from a LONNNNNNNG history with machining steel. So, of course, I thought to myself "oh yeah... gotta get me one of those to rip thru some hapless basswood! Since receiving this and my Kutzall Flame Burr (extra funky for quick wood removal) these are the ONLY two I bits use. Using the edge of this bit I can get a SMOOOOTH surface on basswood (nature's fuzziest wood) and for detailing, the tip of this bit CANNOT be beat - especially undercutting. Feeling froggy, I went after a piece of ash wood (baseball bat material).... gnnnnnnnnr! ZING! Right into the wood, no questions asked. I love, adore and cherish this bit, and may have to move to Alabama so I can marry it. ... show more
