    • Worked Like a charm!
The old one was clogged from Ethanol gas, but a quick 12-minute-swap-out and the mower started up on the first pull. It was a tight fit from the intake pipe to the carburetor, but I just used the bolts to pull it tight. Only negative I have about it is that there was some metal flash (aka molding excess) where the O-ring rubber seal went between the carb and the intake. However I just took a bit of sandpaper CAREFULLY to the flashed piece until it was smooth, not flush but just smooth so it wouldn't cut into the rubber O-ring seal.     • Works but ...
The carb is supposed to fit over a tube that protrudes from the engine of my Toro mower. Well, the stock one slid on and off easily, this one was just a bit too tight. I had to take sandpaper to the tube to get the carb to fit over it. Once it was all reassembled, it started on the second pull, I was pleasnantly surprised. Only other odd thing is if I turn the mower off once it's heated up, it won't restart until I let it cool down. Almost like vapor lock, but the carb doesn't get hot.     • Works but seems cheap
Got this to replace a worn out carburetor on a lawn mower with a briggs and stratton engine. It seems to be working fine but is nowhere as heavy as the original and feels cheaply made. The accessories are a nice touch and I did install the online gas line valve which will make it easier to service the carb in the future. ... show more
