I have been using this chair since January 20th of 2017 and I have it in my bedroom as a recliner for watching TV and using my laptop for HOURS. I wanted a recliner initially but I realized those are very expensive. I began looking for other options and this one fit all my needs. It is very comfortable and I can just kick my feet back and relax. When not in use its very easy to just fold it up out of the way against the wall. I was at a department store and their zero gravity chairs were well over $100 and I purchase this for less than $35. For the price and quality it is a great choice. Some reviewers said that their chairs broke when they tried to sit in them. I've been using this for close to 6 months sitting in it every day, getting in and out leaning completely on it to get up with my weight and I've experienced no issues. UPDATE: July 2020 I still own this chair and its held up very well. We are now using it at the beach and I have a different chair for my room as I changed around some things and bought a desk. For the chair to hold up for 3 1/2 years I'd say I've gotten my moneys worth. Its still in perfect condition and is very comfortable to sit in still.

I bought one of these from a store for my husband for camping, and I decided I liked it so much I had to get one for myself as well. I ended up ordering this one from Amazon so that I didn't have to make the 1-hour trip again. It's really comfortable. My mom has a similar one, and she said she even slept in it! It reclines pretty well, not so easily that you flip backwards at the slightest movement but not so hard that it's impossible either. There are locking mechanisms under the arms of the chair so that when you get just the right angle, you flip those and don't have to worry about losing the spot until you try to get up. Just remember to unlock those before getting out of the chair! I had to jump up to get my toddler away from something and didn't even think about them, and the sound was horrendous. Thankfully, they still work fine! The pillow isn't the greatest. It never wants to stay where I put it, and I wish I could put it down in the lumbar region for supporting my lower back since I have so much lower back pain, but the strap wasn't long enough to go around the chair in that spot. You could just put it there without securing it with the strap, but then I worried about the wind blowing it away without being secured to the chair. It was super windy almost the whole time we were camping for 10 days. The chair itself, however, is very sturdy and didn't even fall over in the wind.

This is SUCH a comfortable chair that I sometimes sleep in it when my arthritis is acting up....I just line it with some cushy body pillows, tilt it back and lock it in place. Sleep like a baby for 4 or 5 hours before I need to shift positions...then I just get up and get in bed for the rest of the night. Pretty inexpensive sleep solution for those with joint problems, particularly in the shoulders and neck area. The tilt can be adjusted to relive that hunched over feeling you get from sitting in front of a computer all day. I love it! I originally got it to recline a little while using a laptop, but it leans back a little too far for that even though a few pillows do help for a while. Still....I find it useful for resting my back, neck, and shoulders at the end of a long day or when watching TV...then it can be folded up and stashed out of the way the rest of the time. It is very sturdy too.

I bought a burgundy zero-gravity chair about a year ago and I'm back to buy a second (hopefully) matching chair. Dye lots can be tricky, so I'll update after receiving the second chair regarding how close the two match or don't match. I love lounging in this chair. I nicked the review one star because with the chair fully reclined, it is tiring to try to read without using a separate, large pillow for support. The chair does have a small attached (matching) cushion that is designed to serve as a headrest, but I prefer to slide that cushion down as low as it can go and use that smaller cushion for lumbar support. Because of the mesh material, this zero-gravity chair allows the breeze to circulate around your body, keeping one cooler in milder weather. I do find that I need an additional layer to lie on when it's brisk or sweltering outside. A small throw blocks the cold air from chilling you when it's cold and a towel keeps you from becoming too sweaty when it's toasty outside. BTW... I live in Indiana and I've used this chair in the early spring (50sF), midsummer (90sF), the winter (30sF next to a bonfire) and in nearly every other temp we reach here in the Midwest. I'm quite happy with my zero-gravity chair. The burgundy (otherwise known as brick, or cranberry, or rust, or spice, or wine, etc.) is a popular color that matches many of the cushions, outdoor rug patterns and other decor I use on my deck. I hope you enjoy your zero-gravity chair as much as I do mine!

This is a great chair! It is comfortable to rest in. The pillow height is adjustable. It is lightweight, but I never feel like it is going to break under me (I'm over 220 lbs). It feels like it should fall over when reclining far back, but it never does. That's more of a feeling in my head that it should be unbalanced, but somehow it is well planted on the ground. The only issues I've had are: 1. It can be awkward to set up from folded. The legs don't open as quickly as it moves into the reclined position while unfolding. 2. Once seated straight up, getting the foot bar off the ground to start reclining is a little hard. That just might be me not knowing how to adjust my weight while reclining though. Overall I love this chair. It is so much better than the options I've had for relaxing outside before. Pretty color too. The burgundy looks just like in the picture.

I bought these through a Bomb Deals Facebook group with a discount code. Totally worth the money I paid and totally worth the value even without the discount. It is so comfortable to sit in and lay in. It reclines back and I feel completely supported and relaxed. It just needs a cup holder, phone holder, and place for my speaker. The pillow attaches with a strong elastic and velcro band. It folds flat so it's easy to store and doesn't take up much room. Not sure I'd drag it to the beach but it's great for poolside or just in the backyard or deck/patio. I am so happy I bought these chairs. Just for reference, I'm 5'2" and 200 lbs and my husband is 6'2" and 300+ pounds. These chairs are very comfortable and sturdy.

I suffer from back pain every now and then due to compacted and bulging lower back disks. When I lift something the "wrong" way, it becomes extremely severe sciatica. So bad that I cannot sit, stand up or lay down on my own. I first found this chair last year when my family and I went camping. We visited some relatives and they had one of these in their back deck. At that time I had already "thrown" my back out and was in extreme discomfort. I decided to sit on the chair and give it a try. I was instantly revealed of pain as soon as I laid all the way back! It felt like a complete miracle. I just recently "threw" out my back again and found no relief at all. I decided to look for the chair and buy it. Once it arrived I simply opened the box, unfolded the chair and sat on it for about 5 minutes. The relief was incredible! I am now sitting at work with no pain at all and with the confidence that if I need it, I can find instant comfort as soon as I come home. I recommend it.

The gears strip and you lose the ability to stop as you're tipping back. I called customer service a few months later where they told me the warranty is 2-3 months and he couldn't help. He said it's a common issue though. I told him it sounds like they're basically disposable, he agreed. A couple months after that the chairs are coming apart... bolts loosening etc. Time for the trash.
