As winter sets in, having reliable tools to combat the harsh elements is essential for any vehicle owner. I recently purchased the Windshield Snow Cover with Magnetic Edges, sized at 62" x 49.6". After using it for a few weeks, I’m ready to share my thoughts. One of the standout features of this snow cover is its magnetic edges. Unlike traditional covers that tend to blow off in gusty winds, the magnets help ensure a snug fit against the car’s body. The size is quite generous, allowing it to fit a range of vehicles from cars to SUVs and even RVs. However, it is slightly oversized for smaller cars, so it may require some adjustment for the best fit. Applying and removing the cover is a breeze. It rolls out easily and can be secured using the magnetic edges, providing a quick solution before my morning commute. I particularly appreciate that it takes only a minute or two to put on and take off, saving me from spending too much time scraping ice and snow. Works well magnets definitely help when placing it on car on windy days. The straps got frozen and thought they were going to break but didn't. Only used 8times during winter

Gonna start off with Cons: This is NOT waterproof. We just had a rainy snow mix and it did not repel the moisture at all. In fact, I’d say it more soaked it in. As I removed it, it was incredibly heavy and wet. Shook it off, still left some frost on the cover. I folded it to the best of my ability; not that quick if you follow the directions to a T. So, I just folded in half, half again and then sides to middle and then together. Fit fine in the bag but got it very wet. When I removed the cover once I got to work, the bag had a huge puddle inside. So can’t say this enough; it is Not Waterproof. Pros: easy to put on, make sure you have it the correct way. Easy but not necessarily quick to remove. Haven’t had a blizzard or windy day with it on so not sure it’s wind resistance. It does hold well with the magnets and the strap to your tire. It did its job for both my mirrors and windshield; they are in fact snow, frost and moisture free. Final thoughts: I am a bit worried with how much moisture it retains, that it can freeze and become stiff. The inability to fold would be the case and then you’re stuck with a cover in your car fully open, wet and just not good. It definitely does the job of keeping your windshield and mirrors clear of snow, frost and ice. I wonder if I should apply a hydrophobic spray to one side to help further repel moisture.

I have had this for a month and it’s already starting to fray, tear and come apart in some seems as pictured and in other random places of the fabric. It does a fair job of keeping the frost off of the windshield. The outside material is just too cheap to withstand the winter weather. Never buying this again. Update: it’s trashed. Never so disappointed on spending money on a product in my life :(
