I am a plus size gal, weighing 240 1bs. At 5’7”, I carry my weight in my mid section, like many plus size gals around. So I typically wear a XL to a 2X up top and a XXL to 3X on the bottom and depending on the item. When searching for a white garter belt, I did a lot of research reading many of the reviews that were provided for this item. Trusting what other plus size girls had said, I purchased the XXL believing that the stretch in it would fit me well. I was very disappointed to find that the XXL is just a little too small for me. I was also very disappointed to see that the item itself is not as it is pictured. While the design looks the same, the actual mesh is very thin compared to the pictures, which make the item look a little more opaque. What I do like about the item are the 6 straps, which is different than most other items and the metal clips, which are very hard to find and a lot more reliable than their plastic counterparts. I will purchase the larger size, but give this 3 stars, taking off two for overall size and appearance. UPDATE: Bought the 3X and it is larger than expected. Given the alternative, I am keeping the larger size, but overally disappointed at the inconsistent sizing and the very thin material. I am lowering my rating to 2 stars.

Looks great!! Wish I would have gotten a xxl. I gave it 4 stars because I don’t know how it’ll hold up. So I saw a lot of reviews saying that this product runs large... I would say true to size. I also saw reviews from people around my height and weight and had gotten an extra large so I just went ahead and got an extra large. It’s for a photo shoot I have tomorrow and it arrived today so sadly I can’t return it in time. My waist is 38 inches And it barely clips on the biggest clip without squeezing too much. I also have a big booty and it doesn’t have as much coverage as I would’ve liked. The beginning of the garter clip sits at the top of my thighs with no material hanging down. I might re order in a bigger size because it’s really pretty!!

I was expecting it to NOT be completely see-through, but it is extremely see-through, in spite of the fact that the size I got is a little too big. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars (instead of 3) is because I absolutely LOVE the color, and beyond the sheerness of the fabric, looks like the picture.

The back of the garment is as large as the front, with 11 hooks. This seems sexy but makes it impractical to wear for more than an hour, as it hinders going to the bathroom. (The back garters pull the stretchy garment down over your rear.) Also, the plastic button part of the garters is tricky to fasten since it's so small and gets sideways in the metal outer part if you're not careful enough.

Chinese sizes! I ordered 3 sizes larger than what I typically wear + it was still way too small. And very sheer. I expected it to look similar to the picture with the same coverage but it is totally see-thru with a red tint. I really wanted to like this but there was just no way to make it look good. They need to take a real photo of the actual product on a model so we can see how it actually look while being worn. If you are very thin or have nothing to 'smooth out' or cover, then this will work fine for u. If you are hoping for a little sexy coverage in a tease-y little number, sorry. If you like things very sheer, you may like this. Just be sure to order at least 3 sizes up.

(I was not offered compensation for this honest review.) This is a beautiful piece of garment but boy is it thin! Which if I think about it is actually great to wear under heavier or thicker clothing especially during the winter. I am 200 lbs and 5'4 and ordered an XL while I love how it fits now that I'm wearing it, I also feel that maybe a large would give me that snug no slide feel that the XL kinda gives me. But that is a personal choice for me. I plan on ordering a large but keeping the XL... I have a feeling I may need it for after the Holidays... ;) I must say... besides getting used to the rubber grips, this product is by far better than I expected and I LOVE it! A must buy!!!

I'm 5'5" and 135ish lbs, usually wear a size 6 (28in waist and 39in hips) and a small was a little big for me- not bad just not as form fitting as I would have liked and expected - they must have used clamps or something on the fabric of the model. Held up well partying and dancing NYE with my Dream Girl stockings (which I wear a plus size in btw even though my Paige jeans are a 28). Based on the photo I thought it would have had some type of slight waist-cinch effect (not like a corset but at least tame the post-holiday pudge). Not the case - the mesh is fairly thin and loose. It was comfortable and sexy and overall I'm happy - good value!!
