I'm privileged to park in garages at home and at work. My lip balm is fine in those scenarios. It's when I park anywhere else for any length of time in the sun that my lip balm melts into a gooey mess. I was searching for a solution and came across this simple product. I stuck it on my car, and after the next hot day my lip balm looked brand new. I understand chap stick is cheap (or can be) but I was throwing them away rather than having to touch the slick weirdness seeping out of the lid. This product pays for itself, for me. The holder is staying just fine, even after several periods of extended hot spells with my car sitting in the sun, and even after hitting it by accident and making it move a bit (it didn't come completely unstuck). I will use my car until it dies on me, so even if the sticky tape doesn't last, I'll just glue the darn thing on if I have to.

This is fantastic for the car. Holds the chapstick wherever you put it so no more searching or losing chapstick. Also if it's super hot and melts at least it's held upright and contained! I will absolutely buy more for the other vehicles!

So initially this worked GREAT for my EOS lip balm. I was so excited to not have my chapstick melt all over my car. However, when the first 100 deg day hit I found it took effort to remove or insert the chapstick. I used a brand new chapstick thinking the old one expanded somehow but the new one didn't fit well either. I continued to use it despite the issue. We had a second bout of heat today and the chapstick got stuck. I pried it out and it doesn't fit at all now. The holder appears to have shrunk or warped with the heat. The holder was not in direct sunlight. I'm hoping this was a one time defective product bc I really liked using it. I've asked for a replacement and if the new one holds up I'll amend my rating.

The media could not be loaded. I didn’t think I’d ever get excited about a tiny chapstick holder for my car. It seemed like one of those “nice-to-have” things that I’d forget about in a few days. But somehow, this little product has completely exceeded my expectations. Let’s talk about the adhesive first because honestly, I was skeptical. I’ve tried a ton of products that claim to stick well, only to have them fall off the second the weather changes. But this one? It’s like it’s glued down for life. I placed it exactly where I wanted it, and it’s stayed put without any drama. No peeling, no slipping, just solid, reliable adhesion. If this thing ever falls off, I’ll be shocked. As for the actual functionality? Well, it holds a chapstick. Yep, that’s its job. But let me tell you, it does it very well. I always lose chapstick in my car, or it rolls around in the console and ends up in a weird, unreachable corner. Now, it has a home, right where I need it. I know, it sounds silly, but it makes a difference. It’s small, simple, and surprisingly effective. It’s one of those products that I didn’t realize I needed until I had it, and now I can’t imagine my car without it. Plus, it’s pretty discreet, so it doesn’t look like I’m trying to over-organize my car, which is a bonus in my book.

The holder is great, but the tape isn’t so good when you have your car out in the sun all day, you might need to adjust the place where it’s sticking as it will fall off if the tape gets too hot.

I love this product so much I bought 2 more and 2 more for my daughter and son. It's a great fit and always have my chapstick right there on my way to work and when I'm out in the car without having to rummage thru the purse.
