I'm privileged to park in garages at home and at work. My lip balm is fine in those scenarios. It's when I park anywhere else for any length of time in the sun that my lip balm melts into a gooey mess. I was searching for a solution and came across this simple product. I stuck it on my car, and after the next hot day my lip balm looked brand new. I understand chap stick is cheap (or can be) but I was throwing them away rather than having to touch the slick weirdness seeping out of the lid. This product pays for itself, for me. The holder is staying just fine, even after several periods of extended hot spells with my car sitting in the sun, and even after hitting it by accident and making it move a bit (it didn't come completely unstuck). I will use my car until it dies on me, so even if the sticky tape doesn't last, I'll just glue the darn thing on if I have to. ... show more

I love this idea so much I got one for all the girls in the family. I had to give it a four because if you live in the south you know how hot the inside of a car can get. The glue on the back melted and it fell off. I fixed it but they need a better glue

Didn’t think I’d care this much about a chapstick holder, but here we are. It keeps my lip balm from melting or disappearing into my cup holder, which is honestly the whole reason I bought it. It's cute and works absolutely as intended until the tape loses it's adhesive properties about 6 months in. I bought this in October 2024, live in Phoenix, it worked amazing in a hot car. As soon as May hit the adhesive failed and I've been unable to get it to stick again permanently. My car is parked in garage, each morning it has been on the floor. This should have an extra adhesive strip. But IT IS ABSOLUTLEY AWESOME, because i know exactly where my chapstick was! ... show more
