Using some plastic polish and a cordless drill, eliminated the cataract look from my 2007 Tahoe. The vehicle looks so much better. I also used them to remove the haze from the driver's window. After years of up and down, the window was hard to see out of at night. Surprisingly the plastic polish and these pads quickly returned the window to like new. Also used the cones to polish up the aluminum engine heads on my old Harley. Worked great. Note: these are smaller than what you'd use to polish a car's paint. Besides, you'd use an orbital tool (not a drill) for paint polishing/waxing, so disregard the bad reviews from people who don't know better ... show more

    • Pads won’t last
I used the yellow medium pad to apply compound on my car and it worked ok but when i went to wash the pad, the velcro padding came off. Now it’s unusable unless i find a way to glue it back on

Great value for the money. I needed a polishing apparatus for some bare aluminum wheels . Mothers wanted nearly 40 dollars for a foam finger polishing ball (1) yes one! I got everything I needed and more with this purchase for a fraction of the cost of mothers overpriced balls

It fit perfectly for my rims, aluminum rims used Gords aluminum chrome metal polish and 0000 steel wool and 1000 and 3000 grit sandpaper, very satisfied with finish, I thought it would be a lot harder to get the black out than it was, you have to follow the directions though on the Gords, I just used the cone shaped wheels, 1st one broke at the end of polishing the 1st wheel, I was bearing down pretty hard, it's a steel shaft outside and a plastic shaft inside, but if you let the polish do the work keep it wet it does the job, I used the flat wool one too, the whole shaft is metal I think, it worked great 👍 for $15 it's a good deal I think, if you catch them on sharp corners they won't last and you can't put a lot of pressure on the cone ones. But I would recommend them and have, and would buy again. Good luck 🤞👍 ... show more
