I bought a Closet Maid and this one (to get the sizes I needed). The Closet Maid was easy to assemble, all parts fit, was a sturdy build, and overall was a great value. This one was a complete disappointment. Several shelves were drilled wrong so the front stuck out past the sides when the dowels were inserted (nope, turning them over did not make a difference). I check the others with the same part number and they were all drilled the same and were correctly spaced for the sides to match the front edge. In some areas the screw pilot holes were drilled off center and caused the screws to push out the laminate sides. The screw head covers looked like something from a kids sticker book. Overall, I'd rate this thing JUNK. I may still return it as long as they don't mind getting sawdust back since that's about all that will be left when disassembled. ... show more

Make sure you use plenty of wood glue when putting this together. After assembly, it's pretty wobbly and I don't think I'd trust it standing up long ways ecen though they do send an anchor bracket with it. I'm using it on its side as a child's book/toy shelf so it's slightly sturdier.

My boyfriend and I put this together pretty easily, it probably took us around 20 minutes. We wanted to use this shelf more as a display case and it turned out perfect. It’s a nice size, not too big and not too small.

Hi. I have bought two of these now. The second one I haven’t had the opportunity to build to way past the return date. It’s damaged. One of the panels has a quarter sized flaw on it. So bummed.
