This metal fencing is more attractive than I thought it would be. I like the hammered metal look. I have used a couple stronger metal stakes in strategic positions since I need it to be secure, but the metal decorative posts that come with the fence can be driven into the ground easily and help in holding it steady as, well. The latches are secure too, not only for keeping animals in or out, but for me, the door is necessary and keeping small children out is essential. I am so very pleased with this fence. It is very easy to put up. The only challenge is uneven ground so if it’s not being used on flat ground, some leveling may be needed, but because of the separate panels, adjustments are fairly simple. Mine looks great! This has made a great fence to keep out dog from digging in the raised garden bed. The panels are good quality and seem sturdy enough to last for awhile. I like the small gate so we don’t have to remove a panel to enter. Only downside is the gate has a double latch and has to opened using both hands. One thing to note, the panels are designed to be self supporting and set up in an octagon shape. Therefore the posts that come with the set do not have tips that can be driven into the ground. My set up is a long rectangle and I bought pound-in posts from Lowe’s to secure the fence in several spots to keep it upright. It took 1 1/2 sets to surround my garden bed on 3 sides when bed is 4’ x 16’… backside is the wall of my house. ... show more

    • Very easy to install and sturdy for my needs

After dealing with chicken wire, this fence was incredibly easy to install and plenty sturdy for around my garden to keep the rabbits out. The only part I don't like is the gate latch because it takes two hands to open it. The latch has to be pulled up from the bottom while pulling the gate out. Very happy with this product. It was easy to set up by myself in under 30 mins and i love how you can really customize the layout. Wr used this fence to close off our garden from our dog and toddler. It's easy to open to get the lawn mower in. And it looks elegant. I love the little built in door too! I used a zip tie to permanently unlock the bottom latch so that i could unlock the door with one hand. ... show more

I hesitated for a long time, not cheap. Finally bought 2 boxes of this fencing (40"). Wow, I'm impressed. The long poles with the knob on top that hold the fence panels together can be pushed into the ground to keep it sturdy. I like that they give you little plastic/rubber stoppers (you have to put them in yourself) for the bottom of the fence to keep the metal a little off the ground. The gate is so smooth to open (takes 2 hands, one for each latch). I'm impressed with the quality. No idea if it will rust, but others said theirs has not. It really looks classy! ... show more

So far, I'm very happy with this product. It looks great and went together very easily. I don't think this will stand up to long term use outdoors without reinforcement. However, it was very easy to reinforce. The ball tipped poles are hollow, so I bought 6 foot steel bar from the hardware store and cut them in half. I hammered them about 6 inches into the ground and slide the ball tipped poles over top. This gives the fence a little more stability to stay upright with wind and light pressure from the dogs. Probably wouldn't handle a rambunctious dog jumping on it, but my dogs don't do that. Can't wait for spring to come and have a more secure border for my garden! My last comment would be that I don't expect this to last more than a couple years given it's steel. Aluminum would be ideal, but this will eventually start rusting. But for now, I'm happy with it. ... show more
