Description

Sweat it out in the Rock It Dansneaker®. The featured ventilated arch keeps you cool and adds extra flexibility through movements. Spinning is effortless thanks to built-in patented flex points and forepart spin spot. The speed looped lacing system offers a snug, more secure fit. Leave it all on the Zumba floor with this Dansneaker®. Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father's footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio's popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes. The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance. Capezio products remain in the forefront in quality and in technological advances with innovations like the split-sole, the stretch-insert, the Dansneaker and the Tapsneaker. Capezio believes that their success is dependent upon the individual commitment of each customer to continually set new standards of creativity and performance, while preserving a reputation for dependability and distinction. Capezio pledges their support and dedication to the advancement of dance, theater and recreation in communities worldwide.

  • AWESOME!
I'd tried on Bloch brand in a store; dug into my (non-existent) arches! Read the reviews for this online and thought it would work better with my flat feet--man, does it!! Did my 1st dance class with them last week--super choice (I was using flimsy leather Capezio jazz shoes with just a thin suede sole, and just not enough padding for my aging 50 yr old feet--had even put 2 foam liners/insoles in them, and still not enough). Also, reviews are right in saying buy a size larger than usually wear in street shoes. When I tried on in store, I was size larger in Bloch, so figured same would be true for Capezio. Glad I did that! (that's why I said "fit as expected" above) Plus, this is a great price! Since I'd never danced in "sneakers" before, it felt a bit strange--noisy (like being back in my ballet pointe shoes as a beginner dancer!) and pointing my toe just didn't feel like it was articulating the same way, but it's a sneaker, after all! I am really looking forward to my next class (and the next, and the next...). Actually considering getting some to wear for street wear, they are just THAT comfortable!!! Highly recommend to any older dancer with foot pain. The Best!! ... show more

  • Perfect for Zumba
Run small. Originally ordered 9.5, had to return for 10. Size 10 is perfect. Using these shoes for my Zumba classes and they are perfect. Really great price too, my friend bought same shoes somewhere else and paid $20 more!

  • Great for Zumba, but they run 1.5-2 sizes too small
These shoes are good for Zumba. I ordered up a half to full size, but they were still too small. I sent them back and ordered up another size. Hopefully this time they'll be good. Edit- I ordered another size up, and they fit well. I've had these for several months now. I use them for Zumba 2 days/week, and they're holding up nicely. ... show more

  • Easy-Breezy Teturn
Based on this shoe’s reviews, I ordered a half size larger. The shoes were delivered very promptly. I still had to go up another half size and the return was very easy. Another pair was sent to me promptly, and my return was acknowledged speedily. Very fine service!

  • the performance of this shoe is great.
I read the reviews on this shoe, so I knew to order a size larger than I normally wear. Given the choice I would have ordered a wide width, but widths were not available. If you have bunion issues, the snugness of this shoe could be uncomfortable. Otherwise, the performance of this shoe is great.

  • I wear Womens size 9 medium ordered a 10 fit well very comfortable
I like the split jazz shoe

  • Not made for a wide foot. Quite hard, no give.
It looks nice but it just didn't fit. It would probably suit a narrow foot. It is also quite hard. there is no give. I know capezio is a well-known dance shoe brand, so they must suit some. The softer skazz brand much better for a wider foot. It is much softer.
