My daughter has used these for many years (required for her ballet) and they last a long time and can easily be sewn if there is a hole eventually. She dances 20+ hours per week and these tight can stand up to that crazy schedule!

First of all, the complete name is: capezio transition tight profesional w/ seams 9 clp in classical pink. The good: - As you get them out the package, they appear thick, but as you put them on, they're quite soft and feel really nice and somehow silky against your skin. The back seam is a very soft faux seam so it won't bother you while working out. - It has great coverage so your skin won't show through. - The foot opening is ribbed much like the back faux seam so it's really soft and doesn't interfere with movement. (The other ones I have, unlike these, have a really uncomfortable and rough opening so I'm adjusting them the whole time, which is not an ideal situation if you're in class.) - The Bad: - I really DO NOT LIKE the color. It's not really pink. I know that because I have a 1 year old daughter and I've seen more shades of pink that I care for and would like to admit. Let's call this color what it is. Salmon! It's exactly like a piece of salmon once it's out of the pan and on your plate. I ordered the Classical Pink, because since this is the first pair of pink ballet tights I buy, I wanted to make sure they're as close to what you'd wear to ballet class as possible. I figure, you can't go wrong with classical. I was wrong. (Other sites claim they lighten up a bit after the wash, but I cannot vouch to that. I'll update the review once I have a resolution) - I have other Capezio tights and according to those labels, I'm an L/XL so that's what I ordered because they have fitted me no matter how much I weigh at any given time (I guess professional ballerinas are really tiny, because I'm normally a small in hosiery of any kind) however these are long. I'm not yet in my normal target wight after baby (1 year post partum) and these could be folded about 2" easily. I hope they shrink a little after washing. I've had Capezio tights before and I can tell you, they're excellent. They've always been black or tan but they have stood to not only the test of time but to workouts and daily life. Yes, they're great to wear with boots; they're thick enough for winter and thin enough to wear underneath skirts, dresses, whatever. You could even skip the panties if you're wearing this under a clingy thin dress. I got these tights really quickly, greatly packaged and in their original packaging. As far as the tight itself, The only complain I have is the color which is a bright Salmon color, not quite orange, but is pretty close. ... show more
