Description

Step up to the barre in the Leather Daisy Ballet Shoe. Features a full sole and pre-attached elastics for a snug fit. Choose between playful daisy patterned lining on the ballet pink slipper or non-print lining on the black or white slipper. This full sole ballet shoe is highly recommended for beginner dancers with a wider foot. Voted 1 in Wiki of 2020's best ballet shoes for girls Salvatore Capezio was born in 1871 in Muro Lucano, Italy. Uninterested in following in his father's footsteps as a construction engineer, he became an artist of his own right, a cobbler. In 1887, at the age of 17, he opened his shop on Broadway and 39th Street, diagonally across from the old Metropolitan Opera House in New York City. Soon, the shop became a meeting place for dancers who would stop by to discuss their needs and to get a pair of his shoes. As Capezio's popularity grew, dancers from around the world made it a point to visit him and purchase his shoes. The innovation of the products that Salvatore Capezio created and the camaraderie he shared with the dancers molded the direction that his company would follow. In this image, the Capezio brand was established to promote and recognize ongoing achievements and participation in dance. Capezio products remain in the forefront in quality and in technological advances with innovations like the split-sole, the stretch-insert, the Dansneaker and the Tapsneaker. Capezio believes that their success is dependent upon the individual commitment of each customer to continually set new standards of creativity and performance, while preserving a reputation for dependability and distinction. Capezio pledges their support and dedication to the advancement of dance, theater and recreation in communities worldwide.

My daughter loves these and they have held up very well over the last year. Sizing was tricky though. I read a lot of reviews in order to get the correct size.

  • These shoes are great!
We love these shoes. The quality is great for dance class for my girl. These are amazing especially compared to other brands. The value is amazing! They always hold up for such a long time! They are easy to put on her feet too! I suggest the wide shoes for younger kids!

  • Cute shoe for the price
The shoes run small and not true to size like it says. My girls are in a size 5 and the 6.5 fits them. I ordered the 7 and it was way too big. Then ordered the 6 & 6.5 to see which fits best. I have to return the other pairs. I don't like how how the shoe laces won't stay tied so I'll have to figure out what to do about that. Overall I'm happy with them. I couldn't find under a size 8 anywhere else. ... show more

  • Order a size up!
So happy I ordered the right size!! I read other reviews noting that the shoe tends to run small. My daughter is 2, and wears a size 6. She has wider feet. I ordered a size 7W and it fit perfectly!! I am very happy with my purchase. You also can't beat the price. Every dance store in my area, charges twice as much! ... show more

Just what we needed for a toddler with a slightly wide foot. A regular width was far too small; the fit is oh-so-slightly gappy until the elastics are tightened.

It was cute and nice as expected though the sizes are a little too small. I purchased and 1/2 size bigger and they were too small.

  • Better off buying from a dance wear store.
They're great quality.... the sizing is just extremely off. I ordered a 7 wide (she wears a 6 and upon reading reviews i ordered 1 size up.) my 2 year olds foot won't fit into it at all. It would need to be at least 2 sizes bigger. Disappointed!

  • The classiest ballet slippers for the money!
My 2.5 year is not a ballerina yet but she’s loving wearing these around the house and pretending. They are a pretty blush color and are much better quality / classier than the brand I saw at target. I love the little name tag ribbon sewn inside! Of course the elastic ties never stay tied but I imagine that’s standard. ... show more
