We got these to use under a dance costume for coverage and they were perfect. They fit well and don't bunch or ride up and are very sheer and silky feel, but don't shine. It's a true black. These shorts are completely see through. My daughter wears them over a leotard, so it didn’t matter to her, but I was really surprised by how sheer they are. Now, after one use, there is a ton of piling on the rear. This has turned out to be a very cheap fabric, and product. Very disappointing.

Both my son and daughter are into gymnastics and modern dance. They both wear the same size so are always swapping clothes. These shorts fit them both and they are not at all sheer. Fit true to size and are a stretchy fabric and very comfortable for my 6 year old to wear for dance class. They are on the shorter side so id recommend wear them over tights the the booty doesn't show. Overall, they're good quality and comfortable for my child to wear.
