This coffee is grown in Siguatepeque, Honduras at an altitude of 4,500 feet and has a target cupping score of 86. Varietals include Catuai, Bourbon, and Catimor. The coffee is naturally washed and sun dried.
- FRESH DARK ROAST WITH EXCEPTIONAL FLAVOR - This dark roast is rich and smooth with a medium body, and boasts notes of dark chocolate, brown spice, and orange blossom. Our dark roast has naturally low acidity due to the beans we source and our air roasting process, which reduces bitter and burnt flavors.
- OUTSTANDING WITH MANY BREWING METHODS - Our dark roast is extremely versatile and tastes wonderful with any brewing method! When finely ground it makes an exceptional espresso and when coarsely ground it makes a bold cold brew that will refresh and satisfy your taste buds with its low acidity and smooth finish. This roast can also truly stand out when brewed with a french press, moka pot, aero press or pour over.
- SUPERIOR ROASTING- All Canopy Point Coffee is air roasted (also called fluidized bed roasting) in small batches. Our roasters use hot air to gently agitate the coffee beans and bring them to the precise degree of roast. Since they use electricity as a heat source, the roasted coffee flavors are not affected by the burnt and over-roasted flavors that are associated with traditional gas-fired roasters. This allows the subtle, sweet flavors of the coffees to naturally shine through.
- FRESHLY GROUND OR WHOLE BEAN - Recognizing that not everyone has access to a grinder at home, we provide the option of freshly ground coffee. Once coffee is ground, it begins to lose its flavors and aromas upon exposure to air. So, we grind fresh coffee beans directly into the bag and seal it immediately to maximize aroma and flavor retention.

This coffee is so good, I think even people who don't like coffee would enjoy a cup of this. I drink my coffee without adding anything to it because I actually like the flavor of coffee. But not all coffees are created equal, and definitely not grown, picked, roasted and packaged the same. On every level, this is truly high quality coffee, and you'll notice that as soon as you open the bag and look at the whole beans. The flavor is bold, rich and smooth. I noticed a slightly chocolatey flavor, which I enjoy, but I think a little sugar would bring out the chocolate notes even more. And there is no bitter taste or aftertaste that can sometimes come with a dark roasted coffee.

This is great Honduran coffee. It's a dark roast, but not overly roasted or burned tasting. There is a nice amount of complexity in it, with notes of roasted cocoa, maple syrup, and orange zest. It's very smooth and doesn't have any strong acidity, maybe a 1/10 acidity. Very drinkable and perfect even on an empty stomach. The coffee is very fresh, and I really love that it's "roasted to order". It doesn't get more fresh than that, and freshness is key for great coffee. Overall - excellent specialty grade coffee, it would only be better if it were certified organic.

The smell is wonderful upon opening the bag. Installation/setup: Use in your preferred method of coffee preparation. Final thoughts: I used this coffee in my reusable coffee filter for my Keurig one cup coffee machine. I really like the taste, it makes for a good wake-up cup. The coffee is full bodied and easy to drink without any bitterness. I’m no connoisseur, I just know what I like. I like this enough to buy it again, and that’s saying a lot. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.
