I bought this for my seven-year-old daughter, and she loves it. It was a little tricky to assemble, but the solution is using a measuring tape to mark above your bed on the ceiling before you mount the sticky hooks. Regarding that, it’s nice that you can install this without any hardware by using the double-sided sticky tape. Once it’s installed, it makes your child’s bed into a little canopy that’s very cozy and magical for them. The lights work fine but we’re a little bit more tricky to hang on the canopy. We ended up taking them off and just using the canopy alone. This is a great inexpensive way to get your child to love their own bed and to let them feel like they have a little bit of privacy. Highly recommended!

This bed canopy was easy to put up and the prettiest pink. We put it in our granddaughters room over her twin bed and it fit and looks great, just like the picture. The lights were the part she loves most. They work well and are not too bright, perfect mood lighting before sleep. Enough light to move around the room while getting ready for bed. We do always turn them off for her. The lights do not get hot, so we feel safe. She keeps the sides tied back with the included ties. Everything was included for hanging and use, just perfect for our little princess.

To hang it from 9' ceilings, I ended up creating a square bamboo frame and hung that from the ceiling, and draped the netting over it. Which was possibly the hardest part, since it's a lot of fabric, and it wasn't real clear which side went where, so there was some putting up and taking down until it worked. Final hanging is low enough the curtains fall even with the bottom of the mattress, but not so far they touch the floor. I tried it with the string of lights, but it's more elegant without, so I've saved the lights and will use them somewhere else. Verdict is still out on whether the netting will hold up or tear the first time it gets caught by someone getting into or out of bed, but it didn't tear being put up, so that's a good sign.
