I’m really disappointed with the Joylife Canopy Bed Curtains for a King Bed. They claim to be blackout curtains, but they’re nowhere near that — they let in so much light that it defeats the purpose. On top of that, there weren’t nearly enough clips provided to properly hang them, and the material feels incredibly cheap for a $50 product. Honestly, I expected much better quality for the price. Save your money and look for something better. I do not recommend these.

This review is for the Canopy Bed Curtains Queen Bed Canopy for Girls, Canopy Curtains and Bed Curtains, Bed Canopy Curtains for Home Decorations (Pure Black, Queen). I grabbed this set to combine with another as I don't want to have to stretch the side curtains to cover the entire outside of the canopy bed. I prefer the curtains to have a more relaxed wavy look to them when pulled closed. I'm not worried about when they are opened, I can crochet my own custom tie backs with standard yarn or cordage. This set is just the curtains, some plastic curtain hooks and rope for hanging it all. I'll also get my own curtain hooks as the plastic ones are not the best quality. Also I'll have a solid grid top to support the top canopy curtain, so I'll not use the included ropes. I have insomnia really bad, I need whatever sleep I can get as I work full time, the last thing I want/need is the sun streaming into my room early waking me up, but I also like being able to have the natural light when I'm awake. So I don't want to put blackout stuff on my actual bedroom window, the canopy curtains are the perfect answer. This is a decent setup. There are a lot of listings on amazon for these setups. Some are netting or lace curtains, some are solid color like this setup, some are a combination. You will have to choose which is the best setup for your application and what price point you're good with. This set has a regular price $49.90 per the listing, which for this setup I'm good with it when you figure up to buy enough blackout curtains for the surround/top would cost more. As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

LOVE, Love, love the "room within a room" space this black canopy creates within our apartment's super-large living room...and BLACKOUT BLACK curtains are clearly the only way to go for room darkening at bedtime...so that the "bedroom chamber" is out of sight, out of mind: utterly private and simply seems to disappear from sight.
