I bought this to upgrade from my Canon T3i, I know right!. I really didn't want to spend this much, but i wanted a professional camera to use for anything. It has night vision which i wanted as well. You can put two sd cards in at a time, and have a consistent record so i auto switched when the one gets full. Battery life is great. The standard battery it came with lasts about 3 hours. I love the audio XLR option... easy to use and set up on the fly if needed. Picture quality is outstanding... even the night vision quality is fantastic. I was very impressed with that. The menus are pretty easy to navigate, and I actually forgot it was a touch screen LCD display as well, so that was an added bonus. LOL Still learning some of the features, but overall I highly recommend it. I can't wait to use this more professionally for what I do. ... show more

Great product! Easy to use and figure out, and I love that it has 5 customizable buttons. Only negative I’ve found is that in some scenarios (for me it’s inside my teleprompter box) the color temperature gets thrown off. The dual SD slot and attachments are all great features!

We use this camera to do filmed hunts for whitetail deer. It performs very well in low light conditions, and the 20X zoom allows you to bring distant objects in and make them appear as if they are right in front of you. For the price point, there is no way you can get a better camera for this application. ... show more

    • Much better 4k than my $200 phone
My Samsung phone gives very blocky 4K. This camera's 4K is crystal clear. The 20x optical zoom is the best I could find for 4K but I use to have $200 Panasonic camcorder that had 70x optical zoom. So this is not hat great for $1500 imho. Also for this money I had expected much better slow motion recording but 0.4 is the best you get and you have to greatly reduce the resolution for that. Annoying is that when you change resolution it forgets some settings like digital zoom on/off. Another disappointment is that there is no USB video output so you have to get a capture card for the HDMI out port. The IR option is nice and works well. The fold out display could do with some anti glare so you can see it better in bright sun light. You can turn it around but that still makes it very hard to see sometimes. It has no GPS build in, which again for the price, is disappointing to me. ... show more

I use it to record church service every Sunday. The 4K video is sharp. I added a Rode microphone and the audio is crystal clear. I recommend.
