I've been using this printer for a few months now and it's fantastic! Easy set up, driver install, and the prints come out nicely. There's still some issues with overall print quality with the carriage. Looks like a bit of a jagged line on the print.

The printer works well, but seems to use a lot of ink. The scanner with the feeder is great and scanning a document to my phone is simple. The only issue I have had with this printer is printing from a phone does not always go through. Some times you have to send it 2 or 3 times before it prints (very strange). ... show more

I am in love with this printer! My last 2 printers were HP and I had trouble connecting to them and constant technical problems. I finally decided to go back to Canon and I'm so glad I did! Totally frustration free installation and set up. I had no trouble connecting our phones with the Canon app so we can scan, print, whatever, directly to it. I did order the XL ink package but I had the printer over a month and printed quite a bit before the starter cartridge ran out. This printer gives me issues. After installing it I printed - no problem. I tried the document feeder to scan - worked OK for the first page. Tried page 2 and it told me paper is stuck in the feeder. Got with support and they could not resolve it - sent a new one. Got the new one, set it up, worked OK. Needed to print a couple of days later - did not touch the printer at all. Told me paper is loaded incorrectly in the tray - but it just worked before turning it off. Had to unplug it for a day to drain all the power and then it printed with no error. Again - did not TOUCH it at all. This printer is trouble. I'm not sending it back for a third one. The app is also hard to connect, same with setting it up to your computer. I haven't been able to set it up to my computer so I am stuck using my phone. Regret buying this, but I am a broke college student and cannot afford a new $100+ machine. Just hope this lasts two years until I graduate. ... show more
