Really cute but the top doesn't cone off to clean or change your melts. You have to unplug and wipe out the whole unit. Can't change the bulb once it burns out either. Was hoping the bulb would flicker for a more realistic fireplace effect but it doesn't.

This is a review of the Mercury glass hobnail wax warmer. It’s beautiful with bulb lit or unlit. A little large for my taste. When all lights are off it creates a beautiful glow in the room. Very nice. Now, a review of the item as a wax warmer. It’s terrible! This thing gets super hot. The wax scent is very strong with a new wax block but it heats the wax so hot the scent is GONE in two days. I have other smaller ceramic warmers. The ceramic insulates the wax from getting too hot and the scent lasts for around 5-7 days. This warmer is a larger bulb and a metal pan to place the wax in. I even let the wax cool and solidify then picked up to smell the wax. Almost zero scent after 2 days. And I have a sensitive nose. Ahh well, it’ll make a great nightlight ... show more

This warmer is beautiful but after being told it was a 22 watt warmer from Candle Warmers I found out its actually only 13 watts. I wouldn't of bought it if id of known that. It doesnt melt the wax all the way no matter how little I put in it or what type of wax I use there's always a ring around it unmelted and I get no scent throw at all. Im now stuck with a warmer than I cant use. ... show more

Right away taking the boxed product out of the amazon box the item arrived smelling like essential oils had been poured all over it and not ones that smelled good it was awful. I had to wash the top of the wax warmer trying to get the scent off it arrived with and it gave me such a horrible headache. We won’t be ordering from this seller again. I have this same item from another company and came perfect scent free and no issues so I’m not sure who dropped the ball here but I won’t be a repeat customer. ... show more

Cute item but I was very disappointed to find it did not actually flicker like a fireplace. I had reviewed questions here and misread and had thought it would be like a mini electric fireplace. Still cute but not what I had wanted. *That will teach me not to order something on Amazon in middle of night/early AM when I have insomnia! (Sigh) ... show more
